This colourful and bright national champion jersey was made for Serhiy Honchar by Santini (BG, Italy) which still looks good today.

Honchar was Ukrainian National Road champion in 2003, was national TT champion in 1996, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, world TT champion in 2000 and finished second overall in the 2004 Giro D`ITalia after winning the ITT on stage 13.

Honchar was well known for his messy, very effective style on the bike, and he also had his collar felt by the UCI a number of times due to failed health checks. He retired When he was unable to find a team in 2010.
